About Catherine:

Why Politics? I have real world experiences, been challenged personally and professionally, and I’m passionate about our community. As a small business owner, I've seen first-hand and I value how small business drives innovation, opportunities and jobs.

Our legislature has be ineffective in addressing gender equality, directly targeted the LGBTQ community, failed to address Mental Health access and parity, failed our children by leaving Public Education woefully underfunded, failed to manage Utah’s growth, and has not properly addressed water storage and overall conservation programs.

For the last 20 years we have witnessed unprecedented growth, particularly in the Southwest Valley. In my city, we grew from 5,000 to 60,000 residents. Our Legislators should be both concerned and address the growth continued housing and growth issues by appropriately managing our tax dollars.

I'll put in the time and effort to make a difference for our community because I care about the people who live here. I’m a Utahn, your neighbor, and with your support, our Senator in the Utah Legislature.
